This year our Religious Eduacation Program will be making Mass the central focus of our teaching and religious education this will allow us to expand our sense of worship, praise and adoration.  We have developed the Mass utilizing the good foundation of our religious education and our parochial school formats.  Our children and young people will be able to fully participate in the liturgy by acting as servers, readers, greeters and singing in the choir.  This will provide more opportunities for our young people to grow by assisting in our liturgies and celebrations.  The homily will be geared to follow the program that our young people are using at religious education classes and parochial classrooms.

We will hold religious education classes for grades 1 through 6 from 9:30AM to 10:20AM in the school.  The teachers and staff will assist the children and young people to the 10:30AM Family Mass.  The children will sit with their classrooms at Mass.  After mass the children will file over to the school to be dismissed.  If you would prefer your child to sit with you that is fine.  Just let the teacher know before Mass starts.

We have heard from some families that they prefer to go to a different Mass and that they would like to pick up their children after class.  That is fine but to avoid confusion we ask that we are notified before class starts so that we can arrange for your child to go into a different line to be dismissed.  Please send a note with your child to give to the teacher before class begins.
