Youth/Teen Choir

The mission of the Youth/Teen choir is to engage our youth and teens, their families and our parish in the rich musical and spiritual traditions of the Church, while developing our current musical liturgical environment in the parish.

The choir offers our young people a unique level of participation in our communal life; seeking to educate, inspire and nurture our worship and spiritual formation. It extends the traditions of worship and liturgical music of the ages uniquely into the twenty-first century.

The Children’s Choir which serves the 10:30 a.m. family mass is open to children in Grades 1 through 6. The choir practices on Mondays after school from 2:30PM to 3:30 P.M. in Saint Ann’s church. 

The teen choir serves at the 5:30 p.m. mass and is open to children in Junior High and High School. The choir practices at 4:30PM on Sundays before the 5:30 P. M. Mass (seasonal schedule).  Teens will provide worship music for the 5:30 P.M. Mass on Sundays joining our already proficient teen cantors and leaders of song. Students are encouraged to bring and play their instruments, particularly strings, guitars, woodwinds, brass, percussion and accordions.
